Dear Friends,
Now, it’s been a weekly ritual for me to publish this newsletter. Every Monday, I look forward to compile and share exciting updates from the world of Quantum Computing along with my personal note.
Happy to share that we have begun preparation for our next event and the theme of the event is to bring in professionals, government officials, academia, and researchers at the intersection of Quantum Computing and Cyber Security. This event is being scheduled on 17th July at 5 PM IST (GMT+5:30) would be one of the unique events for the Quantum Community as well as Cyber Security Community. We would start with a keynote by an industry leader. Next, we would have expert two expert talk one each from industry and academia/research domain followed by a panel discussion wherein leaders of Cyber Security domain join the speakers and have a conversation. At the fag end of the event, we would be having a networking session so, stay tuned for the formal announcement of the event and reserve your slot for this unique opportunity.
I continue to meet various professionals / founders / academia / government officials from the Quantum Community and look forward to set up a one-on-one interaction with you soon.
Hope you find this edition of the newsletter interesting and insightful. Please feel free to share this newsletter with likeminded friends and encourage them to join the Quantum economy.
Stay Safe,
Regards,

Is the Gooseberry Chip a steppingstone to the future of Quantum Computing?
Because qubits are not binary and do not process information using zeros and ones, they can perform significantly quicker. Due to a variety of reasons, quantum computers can only manage a few hundred qubits. That's why the new Gooseberry cryogenic chip can be a steppingstone to the future of Quantum Computing. This project is being led by a group of scientists and engineers from the University of Sydney, Microsoft, and EQUS, the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems.

Quantum helps invent new super conductor material
When cooled below a particular temperature, superconductors transmit electricity without resistance, making them very desirable for human civilization which is seeking to minimize its energy usage and maximize the efficiency of the storage devices. This discovery might have a major impact on quantum computer operations in the future. A new rare topological superconductor, LaPt3P, has been discovered by researchers at Kent and the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory recently.
